The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security(BCAS) is an attached office of Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt Of India and has released a recruitment notification Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2021 for the posts of Staff Car Driver (Gr II), Deputy Aviation Security Officer, and Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade), Senior Aviation Security Assistant, Staff Car Driver (Gr. I) vacancies. Eligible applicants can apply for current openings on or before the last date. BCAS is responsible for laying down standards for pre embarkation security and anti sabotage measures in respect of civil flights and ensuring their compliance through regular inspection and security audits invites application from eligible persons for the above mentioned posts.

Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2021 – Eligibility Criteria

Qualification and Experience

Deputy Aviation Security Officer

• Degree from recognized university or equivalent
• Three years experience in the field of  police/security/intelligence
• Officers under central or state governments or union territories including Central Armed Police Force or public sector undertakings
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or 05 years regular experience in the level 3 pay matrix

Senior Aviation Security Assistant

• Officers under central or state governments or union territories including Central Armed Police Force or public sector undertakings
• Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department or 03 years regular service in level 2 pay matrix
• Three years experience in the field of police or security or intelligence

Staff Driver (Gr I and II)

• Officials holding analogous post in the parent cadre department or Head constable in the level 4 in the pay matrix with 05 years regular service having 15 years regular service.
• Must have a valid driving license for a heavy/ light motor vehicle with at least 10 years of driving. 
• Must be able to read english numericals/figures
• Must have a thorough knowledge of traffic regulations
• Must have good knowledge of petrol and diesel engine working and must be able to rectify faults and minor running defects

Staff Driver (Ordinary Grade)

• Officers holding analogous post in the parent cadre department 
• Must have a valid driving license for a heavy/ light motor vehicle with at least 10 years of driving. 
• Must be able to read english numericals/figures
• Must have a thorough knowledge of traffic regulations
• Must have good knowledge of petrol and diesel engine working and must be able to rectify faults and minor running defects

Age Limit

• Should not be more than 56 years on the last date of receipt of application for the posts of Senior aviation security assistant and security officer
