National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released a notification on 6th January, 2022, inviting applications from candidates to apply for 54 vacant posts. Aspiring candidates can check their eligibility and apply online for their desired post through the official website of NCERT: ncert.nic.in. Applicants are requested to submit their applications on or before January 15, 2022.

NCERT Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions in terms of educational qualifications, age and experience. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
Note: Apart from the general candidates, eligible retired employees of NCERT possessing relevant qualifications and experience may also apply.
NCERT Recruitment 2022 – Age Requirement
Senior Consultant (Academic): Retired persons not exceeding the age of 65 years may also apply.
Consultant (Academic): Retired persons not exceeding the age of 65 years may also apply.
Project Associate/ Survey Associate/ Senior Research Associate: Retired persons not exceeding the age of 65 years may also apply.
Junior Project Fellow: Should be below 40 years as per UGC guidelines. 5 years relaxation will be given for SC/ST and women candidates. The candidates who have already worked in the Council as Junior Project Fellow for two and a half years are not eligible for the post.
Office Assistant: Retired persons not exceeding the age of 65 years may also apply.
Accountant: Retired persons not exceeding the age of 65 years may also apply.
NCERT Recruitment 2022 – Educational Qualification
The educational qualification requirement for each post has been classified into two – Essential and Desirable.
The following gives a detailed look at the educational qualification criteria of each post.
Senior Consultant (Academic):
Essential: Post Graduation Degree in Science/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Commerce/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Education/ Psychology/ Computer Science from recognized university/ Institute with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable:
a) B.Ed. and M.Ed. from recognized university/institute.
b) Ph.D. in relevant subject
c) M.Phil/ NET/ SLET qualified.
d) Proficiency in English and Hindi
e) Working knowledge of computer applications
Consultant (Academic):
Essential: Post-Graduation Degree in Science/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Commerce/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Education/ Psychology/ Computer Science from recognized university/ Institute with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable:

NCERT Recruitment 2022 – Work Experience
Aspiring candidates should ensure that they have the minimum work experience required for the desired post.
Senior Consultant (Academic): Five years’ experience in the field of educational research/ curriculum designing and development/ teacher education (pre-service and in-service).
Consultant (Academic): Two years of experience in the field of Education/ Curriculum Designing and Development/ Monitoring/ Holding Consultations.
Project Associate/ Survey Associate/ Senior Research Associate: Two years of experience in tools development, monitoring survey activities, data collection, analysis and reporting.
Office Assistant: 2 years’ experience in managing program activity and funds.
Accountant: Two years’ experience of handling accounts.

NCERT Recruitment 2022 – Job Requirement
The job requirement of some posts have been mentioned in the official notification of NCERT.
Senior Consultant (Academic): The Senior Consultant will help in monitoring, compilation and analysis of databases and reports etc. and engage in correspondence and coordination with States/ UTs and the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India and assist in conducting meetings to provide academic support to States/ UTs in the area of School Education, Early Childhood Care and Education, Adult education etc.
Project Associate/ Survey Associate/ Senior Research Associate: To assist in survey activities & coordination in field activities, processing of data and helping in preparation of reports, etc.
Accountant: To assist in drafting notes and letters and to look after accounts of the program.
NCERT Recruitment 2022 – Renumeration Package
Senior Consultant (Academic): Rs. 60000 per month
Consultant (Academic): Rs. 45000 per month
Project Associate/ Survey Associate/ Senior Research Associate: Rs. 30000 per month
Junior Project Fellow: Rs. 25000 for NET Qualified candidates and Rs. 23000 for candidates without NET.
Office Assistant: Rs. 25000
Accountant: Rs. 25000
NCERT Recruitment 2022 Apply Online
Candidates can apply online for the above mentioned posts through the Google Form link given in the recruitment notification issued by NCERT. The Google form links are mentioned against each post and this should be submitted latest by 15th January, 2022. Candidates should take a print out of their online application. Shortlisted candidates will have to carry the print out of application in the prescribed format along with self attested photocopy of testimonials/ certificates and one photograph at the time of interview. Candidates are also directed to bring the original certificates/ testimonials for verification at the time of interview.
