The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting online applications on behalf of the National Highways Authority of
India (NHAI) for the post of Deputy Manager (Finance and Accounts). Interested and eligible candidates can now fill their online applications for this Group A recruitment. On selection, the candidate will be appointed to the National Highway Authority of India, NHAI on the pay level 10 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC (Pre-revised: Pay Band-3: Rs. 56100-177500/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-). The online application portal will remain open till November 29, 2021

NHAI Eligibility Criteria 2021

• Education Qualification:

1. Candidates should have completed Bachelor in Commerce or Chartered
   Accountant or Certified Management Accountant or Master in Business Administration (Finance) (through a regular course) from a recognized University or Institute; OR Member of any organized Finance or Accounts-related Service of the Central Government or the State Government; AND
2. Four years experience in Financial Accounting or Budgeting or Internal Audit or Contract Management or Fund Management or Disbursement in an organization of repute which should include at least prior experience of six months in Public Sector Undertaking or Government organization following ‘Double Entry Accounting System’.

• Age Limit: Candidates ages shall not exceed 35 years as of November 30, 2021. The upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India rules applicable for different categories/ groups:

NHAI Recruitment 2021: Selection Process

Candidates who fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria’s educational qualification, experience, age limit will be shortlisted to appear in a Computer Based Test (CBT). This online test will have two parts of 100 marks each:

• Part I (100 MCQs at Degree Level, 1 mark for each question, 100 Minutes Duration)

1. General English
2. General Math
3. General Knowledge
4. Reasoning and Mental Ability

• Part II (100 MCQs at Degree Level, 1 mark for each question, 100 Minutes Duration)

1. Corporate Accounting
2. Income Tax and Corporate Tax
3. Cost Accounting
4. Practice of Auditing
5. Management Accounting
6. Financial Accounting
7. Accrual Accounting
8. Budgeting

A candidate from the UR/ OBC/ EWS category should score at least 30% marks to get shortlisted to the next stage of selection, while the qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and PWD categories required 20%. For each wrong answer, there will be one negative mark. Based on the candidate’s performance in this test, they will get shortlisted for the interview in New Delhi. The National Highway Authority makes the final merit list based on the following criteria:

• 80 % of the marks obtained in Online Test
• Maximum 10 marks weightage to the Educational Qualification(s) as follows: –

1. Only B.Com – 2 Marks
2. Only Chartered Accountant or Certified Management Account or Master in Business Administration (Finance) – 5 Marks
3. B.Com + Chartered Accountant or Certified Management Account or Master in Business Administration (Finance) (only Regular Course) – 7 Marks
4. B.Com + Any of two degrees from Chartered Accountant or Certified Management Account or Master in Business Administration (Finance) (only Regular Course) – 10 Marks

• Interview: 10 Marks

Candidates who possess the prescribed qualification and experience as of November 29, 2021, can apply for this latest NHAI recruitment 2021.

• To start your online applications visit the National Testing Agency official website, Click Here
• On the home page click on the link “NHAI Direct Recruitment Examinations – 2021(Latest)”
• On the next page, click on the “Vacancy Notification for the Post of Dy Manager (Finance & Accounts) in NHAI”
• On the landing page, click on the NEW REGISTRATION menu, and complete the registration process with a valid email and mobile number
• On successful registration, candidates will get the system generated Application Number and created Password for further login
• Log in to the application portal using the same, and complete the application form by uploading the photographs, signature, and application fees
• The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format and be between 10 kb to 200 kb, and 4 kb to 30 kb respectively. The photograph should be coloured or black/ white background
