Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the short notice regarding the Mains Admit Card for SI (Sub Inspector) of Excise Post against Advt No.4319/OSSC. Commission will conduct the mains exam for the Sub-inspector of Excise Post on 23-24 July 2022.
Aspirants who have applied for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police will have to undergo the Physical Standard Measurement & Physical Test as part of the selection process and the admit card is announced for the Odisha Staff Selection Commission SI PST Test. This test is undertaken by aspirants who have passed the OSSC SI written examination
As per the short notice publised, the main written examination for the post of Sub Inspector of Excise-2021 will be held on 23/24 July 2022 through Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE)mode. The exam will be held at different examination centres across the state of Odisha as per the program given on the official website.
Examination date, reporting time, examination time, registration number, and center of examination details will be provided in the Admit Card that can be downloaded from the official website of OSSC (ossc.gov.in).
There will be exam for the Paper one for Composite Paper for the subjects including General English, Odia Language and General Studies. There will be number of questions will be 100. Total time allotted for the exam will be One & Half Hours ant there will negative marking@0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

v) Take a printout of the Admit Card for future reference.

The center of examination is located at OSAP, 7th Battalion Ground, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar. The Odisha Staff Selection Commission Excise Sub Inspector selection process includes three stages to test the candidates in every aspect. These stages are provided below.
Main Written Exam
The exam acts as a screening test and is the first stage of the selection process. All the candidates have to go through a multiple choice-based exam. The selection is done as per the merit list. All the questions will be of 1 mark and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. The details of the exam pattern are as follows:

Physical Test
To test the physical capabilities of the selected applicants, a physical measurement test followed by a physical test is held. The stamina, durability, and strength of the aspirants are tested during this examination. There is no exam pattern for the physical exam. The judgment is done as per the physical requirements that are provided in the table below.
Physical Measurements Test-PMT
The Physical measurement test will be conducted for those applicants who will clear the Odisha Staff Selection Commission Excise SI written examination. This is the middle stage between Witten exam and PET. Aspirants need to qualify PMT in order to get selected for PET Stage.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Aspirants are required to qualify the PMT stage to be selected for the PET Process. After clearing PET, the applicants will be called for an Interview which is the final stage of the OSSC Excise Sub-Inspector Recruitment Process.

Viva Voce
The viva voce is an oral examination that is held in the form of a personal interview. The selected applicants get their judgment capabilities, character, personality, and soft skills tested. The interview carries 10 marks. There is not a set exam pattern for this stage.
