Exercise 2: Highlight the prepositions and identify them

A selfish fox once invited a stork for dinner. The invitation made Stork very happy, so she promptly got to the fox’s house and used her long beak to knock on the door. She was led to the dining table by the fox, where some soup was served to them both in shallow bowls. She was unable to consume any soup because the bowl was too small for the stork. However, the fox quickly consumed his soup.

The stork was enraged, but she behaved politely and did not express her anger. She then invited him to dinner the following day in order to instruct the fox. She also served soup, but she did so in two tall, narrow vases this time. The soup from her vase was consumed by the stork, but the fox’s narrow neck prevented him from drinking any of it. The fox realized his error and went home hungry.
