Operator(Chemical) Trainee – Category wise upper age limit for candidates applying for the post of Operator(Chemical) Trainee is as follows:
Unreserved category/ EWS: 29 years
- SC / ST category: 34 years
- OBC Category: 32 years
- PwBD Category (General): 39 years
- PwBD Category (SC/ ST): 44 years
- PwBD Category (OBC): 42 years
- Children / family members of the victims of 1984 riots: 5 years

Junior Fireman Grade II: Category wise upper age limit for candidates applying for the post of Junior Fireman Grade II is as follows:

RCFL Recruitment 2022 Physical Standards
Those aspiring to apply for the post of Junior Fireman Grade II should have the following physical and visual standards.
Physical Standards:
Height: Minimum 172 cm for men and minimum 162 cm for women.
Weight: Minimum 50 Kg.
Chest Measurement: Minimum 81 cm and 86 cm on expansion only for men.
Physique: No physical disability, no keen-knock and no flat foot, no orthopaedic implantation inside the body.
Vision Parameters:
Distance Vision: 6/6 without glasses.
Color Vision: Color blindness / Night blindness will be a disqualification.

RCFL Recruitment 2022 Educational Qualification
Operator(Chemical) Trainee
Full time and regular B.Sc.(Chemistry) Degree from UGC / AICTE recognized University / Institution with Physics as one of the subject during any one of the 3 years course of B.Sc. Degree and passing of The National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) examination in the Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) i.e. AO(CP) Trade. This should be completed after passing of B.Sc.(Chemistry) Degree.

Full time and regular three years’ Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Technology from UGC / AICTE recognized University / Institution and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the
Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973).

HSC(Science) and direct admission to second year/3rd Semester of three years’ Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Technology from UGC / AICTE recognized University / Institution and successful

Junior Fireman Grade II
SSC with 6 months full time fireman certificate course from State Fire Training Center, Government Institute (SFTC) / recognized by Government of India. Distance learning / Correspondence / Part-time course will not be acceptable. The candidate shall possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License.
RCFL Recruitment 2022 Work Experience
Operator(Chemical) Trainee: The candidate must possess two years work experience preferably in Fertilizer or Chemical industry (Pesticides, Agro chemical, Chlor-Alkali, Organic Chemical Manufacturing) having continuous / batch process and performing the job in Process/Production Department.
Junior Fireman Grade II: Candidates should have minimum one year experience in ‘Industrial Fire-fighting’.
In both the cases, experience should be after acquiring the required educational qualification. Period of training including Apprentice Training will not be considered as experience. The cut off date for calculating work experience is 1 March, 2022.

How to Apply Online for RCFL Recruitment 2022?
- Log on to the website www.rcfltd.com
- Click on the option “APPLY ONLINE”
- Choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name and Email-id. An OTP will be sent to the Email – ID mentioned in the registration form.
- Then Login using the registered Email ID and OTP as password.
- Fill all the required information in the application form.
- Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application as no change will be entertained once the form is submitted.
- Upload photograph and signature
- Click Submit and proceed to ‘Payment’ Tab to pay the application fee.
- Retain a photocopy of their Application Form and Payment Receipt for future reference.

- SC / ST & PWBD candidates- Nil
Application fee can be paid through internet banking account or credit or debit card. No other mode of payment of application fee would be accepted. Application fee once paid will not be refunded.
RCFL Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
The selection process for the posts of Operator (Chemical) Trainee and Junior Fireman Grade II comprises of two tests: Online Test and Trade Test.
Online Test: This will be a computer based objective type test.
Trade Test: Based on the performance of the candidates in the online test, eligible candidates will be provisionally called for trade test tentatively in the ratio of 1:2 i.e. 2 eligible candidates for 1 post. Trade test will be of qualifying nature which will be conducted after online test. The documents of the candidates will be verified before appearing for trade test. If a candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria, he/ she will not be allowed to appear for the trade test.
The trade test for Operator (Chemical) Trainee will consist of Practical Job Knowledge and handling of Technical equipment for 80 marks and Safety awareness and Computer Knowledge for 20 marks. The total marks for trade test will be 100.
A candidate has to secure minimum 60 marks (and in case of SC/ ST candidates 55 marks) out of total 100 marks to qualify in the trade test.
The trade test for Junior Fireman Grade II will include physical endurance test, driving test and physical fitness test. The tests and qualifying criteria are as follows:
- Ladder Drill: The candidate has to climb extension ladder in 25 seconds.
- Rope Climbing: The candidate has to climb rope up to the height of 15 feet from shoulder height and then lowering.
- Running: The candidate has to run a distance of 1500 meters in 9 minutes.
- Hose Running Drill: The candidate has to do layout full length of Fire Hose and then roll it in 25 seconds.
- Extinguisher Drill: The candidate has to run a distance of 75 meter with DCP (09 Kg.) extinguisher in 30 seconds.
- Rescue Drill: The candidate has to crawl through tunnel of 10 feet length with rope and return back by rescue the casualty (Dummy) by the means of Rope knot in 04 minutes.
- Driving Test: Candidate has to drive heavy vehicle with 50 meter forward and reverse movement or as desired by the Trade Test Officer.
The Physical Endurance Test for Junior Fireman Grade II (Women) will be as follows:

- Driving Test: Candidate has to drive heavy vehicle with 50 meter forward and reverse movement or as desired by the Trade Test Officer.
The postings of the selected candidates may be at any of the Units / Area offices of the company as decided by the Management. The selected candidate may be assigned jobs/ functions/ assignments as per the business requirements of the Company including shift operations.
