Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Senior Section Engineer in Indian Railways must hold a 4 year B.Tech/ BE degree in any discipline from a recognized board or university
Age Limit
- Minimum age limit : 20 years
- Maximum age limit : 34 years
Age relaxation is applicable for those candidates belonging to reserved categories. Candidates claiming age relaxation or vacancy reservation must submit proofs regarding the claim.
- Age relaxation of candidates belonging to OBC category : up to 3 years
- Age relaxation of Ex – Servicemen candidates : up to 3 years
- Age relaxation of candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories : up to 5 years

- RRB SSE 2022 exam will be conducted in two levels, (i) Computer Based Test (CBT) and (ii) Document Verification.
- The total number of questions will be 150.
- CBT has two levels: Part A and Part B.
- Part A consists of 60 questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic Reasoning, Mental Ability etc.. and the maximum marks of this part is 60.
- Part B consists of 90 questions from Technical Ability and the total score is 90.
- Candidates are supposed to complete the test within 120 minutes or 2 hours.
- Candidates who successfully crack the CBT will be subjected for strict document verification.

Expected Cut off – RRB SSE 2022
Cut off marks are actually a bar set up by the examination board to shortlist the number of eligible candidates. RRB SSE 2022 Selection process
Just as we discussed before, RRB SSE 2022 exam will be conducted in 2 levels. They are,

Candidates who successfully crack the CBT will be shortlisted for document verification. Those selected candidates must be ready to submit the original certificates including copies of all major documents during the time of verification. If you do not have the original certificates, make sure to inform the board before hand. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your candidature.
