Post-wise Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria include – age and educational qualifications. The common age limit notified for the police constable posts is a minimum age limit of 18 years and a maximum age of 22 years. For the post of Police constable (Civil & AR) and Warders (Female), the minimum age limit is 18 years, while the maximum permissible age is 35 years. Age relaxation can be availed by the candidates, according to the Telangana Government Service rules.

The educational qualification required by the General (Police Constable) is a pass in Intermediate/Class 12^th and for the SC/ST (Police Constable) – Pass in SSC/Class 10th and appeared for Class 11th & 12th.

Salary Scale for TSLPRB Police Constable

The salary for the TSLPRB Constable will be paid as per the 6th pay commission. And the Police Constable post will be having a starting basic of Rs. 15,000/- and that of Head Constable post have Rs. 20,200/-.

The total salary for the concerned post will be calculated as the total Basic salary, HRA, DA, TA, from which the EPF has to be deducted. Then the gross salary will be Rs. 16,400 – 49,870/-.

During the training period for the Post Code Nos.21 to 24 (both regular as well as extended), candidates will be receiving an amount as per the Government rule. After the successful completion of training candidates will be appointed to the regular services. Stipend and salary allowances are fixed by the government.
