The Tamil Nadu forest department recently released an advertisement regarding the vacancies in the post for Forest Guards with and without Licence. However the TN Forest Guard TNFUSRC Exam Date is not yet announced by the authorities. As soon as it is announced it will be updated in this blog. Some of the important dates as derived from their advertisement are:

The exam will be conducted online. The candidate will have to answer 150 questions in 2 hours. The candidates can look in to the exam pattern and syllabus from this blog and start preparing for this exam as soon as possible. They can also solve previous question papers to get a good score. A lot of mock tests should also be attempted in order to get used to the pattern. The candidates who clear this online test will be called for the physical standards verification and endurance test.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS VERIFICATION AND ENDURANCE TEST
(i) Physical Standards
Physical Standards to be satisfied by the candidates:

As per the Tamil Nadu Forest Subordinate Service Rules and Tamil Nadu Government servants (Condition of service) Act 2016 under section 3 (x), for the candidate belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Jungle Tribes, Male Candidate with minimum height of 152 cm and Female and Third gender Candidate of minimum height standard 145cm are also eligible for the post.

(ii) Physical Standards certificate
Physical Standards certificate should be obtained from a Medical Officer, above the rank of an Assistant Surgeon appointed by the Government on or after the date of Notification and it should be submitted when called by the TNFUSRC.

(iii) Endurance Test
Applicant will have to undergo a Physical test where the candidate will have to walk. The male candidates have to walk over 25 km in four hours and the female/third gender candidates will have to complete 16 km in four hours.

OTHER IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
1) The applicants should ensure that they satisfy all the eligibility criteria for the examination. The aspirants applying for the examination should go through all instructions carefully. Their admission to all stages of the examination will be purely based on eligibility conditions. Mere issue of memo of admission to the applicant to online examination / Certificate Verification / Oral Test will not imply that his candidature has been fully cleared by the TNFUSRC.
2) The Admit cards for eligible candidates will be available in the official website (www.forests.tn.gov.in) which can be downloaded by the candidates. Admit cards will not be sent by post. The candidates must read each and every instruction given in the admit card.
