TNPSC Jailor Exam Notification 2022: Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria:
- The aspirants should have completed Any Degree awarded by any University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- The educational qualification ordained for the posts is that the applicant should have passed the required qualification in the following order of studies: 10th + Higher Secondary or its equivalent + Bachelor’s Degree as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for the SCs, BC(OBCM)s, SC(A)s, STs, MBC/DCs, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of all categories is none and for Others is 32 years.
Physical Qualification:
- The applicants must fulfill the Medical Board in Tamil Nadu as to the physical fitness and capacity for active outdoor work. The applicant must satisfy the prescribed height and vision requirements mentioned in the notification.
Certificate of Physical Fitness:
Aspirants selected for appointment to the said post will be required to produce a certificate of physical fitness in the form prescribed below. The model format is enclosed with Annexure III of the notification given above. The said Certificate should be produced by the selected aspirant to the Appointing Authority at the time of joining to the said post. Certificate of physical fitness Form prescribed for Executive post Aspirants with defective vision should produce Eye Fitness Certificate from a qualified Eye Specialist working in Government Hospital.

Step 3: Hit on the “JAILOR (Men) and JAILOR (Special Prison for Women)” button.

TNPSC Jailor Exam Notification 2022: Selection Process
Selection will be made based on two successive stages i.e.,
(i) Exam (Written / CBT Method)
(ii) Oral Test (OT) in the form of an interview.
The final selection will be done on the basis of the total marks obtained by the aspirants at the Written/ CBT Method examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Aspirants’ appearance in the Written/ CBT Method examination and oral test is mandatory. The aspirant who has not appeared for any of the subjects in the Written/ CBT Method exam or Oral Test will not be considered for selection, even if he or she obtains the minimum qualifying marks for selection.
