UP TET Eligibility Criteria 2022

UPTET 2022 Notification is to be released soon by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) at its website i.e. upbasiceduboard.gov.in. This year, the exam will take place on January 23rd and all applicants are advised to use last year’s questions in order to practice their speed and timing skills before taking this exam again. UPBEB is likely to release the notification for the Super TET – 2022 on January 8th of next year. The application form for this examination is also scheduled to release. UPBEB conducts this examination through offline mode every year and it fills out positions that are notified by them. Applicants can download the UPTET Application Form from October 2020 (tentative). To be eligible for UPTET 2020 you need a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% (45% for reserved category) or higher. The organizing body will issue Admit Card for UPTET on January 12, 2022, on its website.  Candidates should secure at least 60% marks (55% for the reserved category) to qualify for the exam. Check UPTET Cutoff. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be awarded UPTET Eligibility Certificate. It is valid for& a lifetime.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2022

UPTET 2022 Eligibility and reservation guidelines are laid down by the conducting body. Make sure you meet all of the requirements for the application before submitting your form. The candidate should be a citizen of India to be eligible for UPTET 2022. Participants should be between 18 to 35 years of age. Aspirants must have a UGC recognized bachelor’s degree (B.Ed, D.Ed, BTC, etc.) and obtain at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam. Reservation will be applicable as per the norms of the Central Government. Seats will be reserved for SC, ST, and OBC categories as also PwD candidates in all the participating institutions.

Primary Teachers (Classes I-V)

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from recognized university & 2 years Diploma (D.Ed) from N.C.T.E/ Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). OR
• Bachelor’s degree & 2 years B.T.C., C.T. (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) OR
• Bachelor’s degree & qualification in  Special B.T.C. Training OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years & BCT Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh OR
• Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University (For Urdu Teacher) or Moallim-E-Urdu Degree before 11-08-1997

UP TET Age Limit 2022

Candidates who belong to the general category (UR) should be more than or equal to 18 Years and less than 35 Years of age. There is age relaxation for reserved categories which is shown below:

Nationality

The candidate should be a citizen of India. Candidates who belong to Nepal/ Bhutan /Tibet are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply for UP TET Exam 2022?

UPTET Application Form will be available from October 2022 (tentative), at the official website of UPTET. All aspiring teachers will have to apply for the test between the set registration window. UPTET Application Form can be filled and submitted only through online mode.  The last day to fill out the application form and the application fees can be paid is October 2022 (tentative). Candidates will be required to enter basic details about themselves and their academic qualifications. Participants will have to upload their recent, passport-sized photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned on the form. After completing all the above steps, they should take a printout of the application form for further processes.
