UPPCL Camp Assistant Notification

Uttar Pradesh Corporation Limited (UPPCL) ha released a notification on 11th May inviting applications for the post of Camp Assistant Grade 3. There are 24 vacancies for the post of Camp Assistant for placements in UPPCL and it’s associate distribution corporations. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for this post. All applicants should have Aadhar Card or a valid photo ID. Benefits of reservation will be applicable only to those who belong to the state of Uttar Pradesh.

UPPCL Vacancies 2022

There are a total of 24 vacancies for the post of Camp Assistant Grade 3 in UPPCL. The number of vacancies maybe increased or decreased according to requirement by UPPCL The category wise vacancies is as follows:

• Unreserved – 21
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) – 2
• Scheduled Tribe – 1

UPPCL Pay Scale 2022

Selected candidates will be eligible for a monthly pay of Rs. 27200 to Rs. 86100 based on Matrix Level 4. Apart from this, they’ll be eligible for other allowances as per UPPCL rules from time to time.

UPPCL Eligibility Criteria 2022 

The Corporation has laid down certain criteria to shortlist eligible candidates. Applicants are advised to go through all the criteria and ensure that they satisfy these criteria before applying for the post. The applications of those who do not satisfy these criteria will be rejected.

Nationality

Applicants should belong to any one of the following:

1. Citizen of India
2. A person of Tibetian origin who has moved to India before January 1962 with the intention of permanent residence in India
3. A person of Indian origin who has moved to India from any of the following countries: Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka or any east African country like Kenya, Uganda or United Republic of Tanzania

Those who belong to category 2 or 3 should have a certificate of eligibility issued by the state government. They should also produce certificate from Inspector General, Intelligence Branch, Uttar Pradesh.

Age Limit

Applicants should be in the age limit of 21 to 40 years as on 1st January 2021. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved categories will be as follows:

• Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class candidates (non creamy layer) of Uttar Pradesh – 5 years
• People with disabilities – 15 years
• Ex Servicemen – Adding 3 years to the number of years of service provided

Character Certificate

Verification of character and antecedents will be done by the appointing authority through the police. If there is any incident of bad conduct during service, he will not be permitted to continue. His services will be terminated without any notice and his salary will be withheld. The applicants will have to produce character certificate issued by the previous educational institution or organization. He/ she will also have produce good conduct certificate from two elite people from his/ her locality.

Health Certificate

Every candidate, who is found suitable as a result of the competitive exam, will have to produce a certificate of mental and physical fitness from the Chief Medical Officer or Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the district who is authorized by the Corporation.

Marital Status

A male candidate who has more than one wife or a female candidate married to a man who has more than one wife will not be considered for recruitment.

Educational Qualification

Applicants should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from a recognized university established by law in India or an equivalent degree recognized by the state government.
• Minimum speed of 60 words per minute in Hindi shorthand.
• Minimum speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi typing on Computer is mandatory.

UPPCL Application Process

• The Corporation will accept only online applications. All other form of application will be rejected.
• Visit the official website of UPPCL – www.uppcl.org.
• Click on the tab ‘APPLY ONLINE AGAINST ADVT No: 04/VSA/2021/SS’.
• In the new tab click on ‘How to Apply’.
• Follow the procedure mentioned in it.
• Carefully fill up your basic details like Name, Age, Education, contact details etc.
• Pay the fee online / Offline and upload documents, Photo and signature.

Application Fee

Applicants will have to a non refundable application fee while submitting the application form. Application fee can be paid through net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ payment gateway or through Challan in State Bank of India. The category wise application fee is as follows:

• Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates of Uttar Pradesh – Rs. 826
• Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) – Rs. 1180
• People with disabilities (PwD) of Uttar Pradesh – Rs. 12 (Processing fee)

UPPCL Selection Process 2022

The selection of eligible candidates from all the applicants will be done on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT) and typing and short writing test.

Computer Based Test (CBT): The question paper of written test will be of two parts. The question paper will be in two languages Hindi and English and the examination will be conducted through online medium. In the first  part of the written exam questions will be related to knowledge of computer, level of NIELIT. There will be 50 questions of objective type and each will carry one mark. There will be a negative marking of .25 for every wrong answer. Applicants should mandatorily score at least 20 marks in the first part to qualify. However this mark will not be considered for merit.

The second part of the written exam will be of objective type for 101 marks and there will be a negative marking of .25 marks for every wrong answer.

Based on the marks obtained in the second part, candidates will be called for Hindi shorthand and Hindi typewriting.

Stenography Test: A text will be dictated in five minutes and a time duration of 30 minutes will be given for typing on the computer. The speed will be determined on the dictation taken and typing done in this 35 mins.

Typing Test: Hindi text will be taken in Kruti Dev 010 and 016 font. The candidates will have to attend a five minute test on computer which will be used to determine their speed.

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of second part of written exam.

Those who do not attend for the the typing and stenography test on the prescribed day will be disqualified.

Exam Centers

Exams will be conducted in the cities of Lucknow, Meerut, Noida, Agra and Varanasi.

Admit Card

Once the exam date is announced, the Corporation will release the Admit Cards through the official website. Candidates can get their admit cards by entering their application number and date of birth.
