Candidates in the General category must be between the ages of 21 and 40 as of July 1, 2020, which means they must have been born between July 2, 1980 and July 1, 1999.

Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for the Scheduled Castes of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P., Other Backward Classes of U.P., Skilled players of Classified Games in U.P., State Govt. Employees of U.P. including Teachers/Staff of the Basic Shiksha Parishad of U.P. and Teachers/Staff of the Government Aided Madhyamika Vidyalaya’s of U.P. Age relaxation and group C post reservation for emergency Commissioned Officers/short Service. Commissioned Officers/Ex-Army will be assigned in accordance with the rules.

Marital Status

Male candidates who are married and have more than one wife living, and female candidates who have married someone who already has a wife, are ineligible unless the Honorable Governor grants an exemption from this condition.
