RRB JE Selection Process
The Selection Procedure consists of Four Stages.
Stage 1: 1st Stage CBT
Stage 2: 2nd Stage CBT
Stage 3: Document Verification
Stage 4: Medical Fitness Test
Stage I: Computer Based Test -1

- For the second stage CBT the candidates will have access to a virtual calculator.
Stage III: Document Verification
If you clear the Second Stage of CBT as per the cut-off decided by the Recruitment Board, you will be called for the 3rd stage which is Document Verification. After this, you will be called for Medical Examination.
Aspirants will have to produce their original documents mentioned below. Certificates obtained in any other format like photocopy etc, will not be accepted.
- Matriculation/10th standard Certificate or Equivalent certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
- 10 +2 / Higher Secondary/PUC certificates
- Diploma / Engineering/Science Degree Certificate with Semester wise Mark Sheets
- SC/ST certificate
- OBC-NCL certificate
- Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC candidates
- Income Certificate
- Minority Community certificate
Stage IV: Medical Examination
Candidates suggested for selection will have to pass the medical test conducted by the authorities to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties properly.
For A-3 Medical Standard:
- Should be physically fit.
- Visual Standards-Distance Vision:
- Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/9 with or without glasses
- Near Vision: Sn: 0.6,0.6 with or without glasses
- Must pass the test for Colour Vision, Mesopic, Binocular Vision, Night Vision
For B-1 Medical Standard:
- Must be physically fit.
- Visual Standards-
- Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses
- Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required
- Should pass the test for Colour Vision, Mesopic Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision
For B-2 Medical Standard:
- Must be physically fit.
- Visual Standards-
- Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses
- Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required
- Should pass the test for Binocular Vision
For C-1 Medical Standard:
- Must be physically fit.
- Visual Standards-Distance Vision:
- Distance Vision: 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses.
- Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required.
