IAF Agniveer Vayu Salary 2023: Structure

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued the IAF Agniveer Vayu salary structure for the examination. The candidates will be eligible for a fixed wage for each year of induction, as determined by the authority. The salary of an Indian Air Force Agniveer will enhance by 10% per year. This salary will not include any benefits. The Indian Air Force Agniveer will be kept just for four years and will receive a Seva Nidhi package worth INR 10.6 lakhs at the end of the year. Applicants who are selected in the Indian Air Force Agniveer exams will be eligible for 30 days of leave each year.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Retirement Benefits 2023

A skill certificate and the title of Agniveer will give to candidates after they’ve served their four years of service. They will also receive the Seva Nidhi package, which is worth INR 10.4 lakhs. Additionally, if an Agniveer passes away unexpectedly while serving, his/her heirs will be eligible to receive insurance coverage of INR 48 lakhs.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu 2023: Additional Benefits

There are several benefits enjoyed by the Indian Air Force Agniveers as per the new revised policies regarding the recruitment and benefits scheme of Indian Military.

Payment Modality – ‘Seva Nidhi’ Package. Two options to receive the Seva Nidhi package will be provided to each Agniveer, with an aim to provide financial loans for self-employment / entrepreneurship through a bank Guarantee as also to meet immediate / incidental expenses, on exit. Details will be issued separately by GoI.

Life Insurance Cover. Agniveers will be provided life insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakhs for the duration of their engagement period as Agniveers in the IAF.

Compensation for Death. Agniveer Corpus Fund has been constituted to provide the death compensation to the Agniveer as part of the scheme.

Compensation for Disability. In case an individual is placed in Permanent Low Medical Category (LMC), the authorities will assess the percentage of disability and attributability. Such personnel will be discharged from IAF on medical grounds post payment of lump-sum compensation.

‘Agniveer’ Skill Certificate. At the end of the engagement period, a detailed Skill-set certificate will be provided to the Agniveers, highlighting the skills and level of competency acquired by them during their engagement period.

Ex-Agniveers enrolled for Four Years. Ex-Agniveers who are selected to be enrolled in IAF as regular cadre on completion of four years, will be governed by existing terms and conditions of service of airmen/NCs (E) in the Indian Air Force, as amended from time to time.

IAF Agniveer Vayu Educational Qualification

• 10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and English with Minimum 50% Marks. and 50% Marks in English.
• 3 Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with Minimum 50% Marks and 50% Marks in English in Diploma Course.
• 2 Year Vocation Course with Non Vocational Subject Physics and Math from Any Recogized Board with 50% Marks Aggrgate and 50% Marks in English.

Other Subject Eligibility:

• 10+2 Intermediate with Minimum 50% Marks Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.
• 2 Year Vocation Course with Minimum 50% Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.
