• For Panchayat Secretary Post: Candidates must have passed the degree from any recognized university.

Age Limit:

• To apply for APPSC Group 3 Panchayat Secretary posts, the age of the applicants should be in between 18 to 42 years of age. Candidates who belong to SC/ST, OBC, PH, Ex-Servicemen will be given relaxation in age.

The syllabus for the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission includes general studies and mental ability, rural development and problems in rural areas with special reference to Andhra Pradesh and general science. Mental ability here includes mathematical operations, Venn diagrams, sitting arrangements, the alphabet test, etc. General Studies includes history and culture, Indian agriculture, general geography, national income, etc. General science has many different topics that include quantum chemistry, photochemistry, nuclear and particle physics.

Since Panchayat Secretary is a Grade IV Post and the salary will be in the pay scale of Rs.16,400 – 49,870.
