IB ACIO Exam is conducted for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer in the Intelligence Bureau. It is conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. IB ACIO Exam Pattern 2019
Tier I Exam

Tier I exam is objective type. Exam duration is one hour to attend all questions. There will be negative marking and 0.25 mark will be reduced for each wrong answer.
Tier II exam

Tier II exam is descriptive type. The duration of exam is one hour and there is no negative marking as in Tier I exam.
Candidates can attend Tier II exam only if they score a minimum of 33 marks in Tier I exam. Based on scores of both Tier I and Tier II, the candidates are evaluated and selected for the next step, which is the interview process.
