Qualifications and experience relevant to the post

Age

Age determined as of January 1, 2022. For Assistant Professor positions, candidates should be no older than 40, Associate Professor positions should be no older than 45, and Professor/Director positions should be no older than 50. The age limit is 37 years for the remaining positions. Age restriction relaxation according to Punjab Government Rule

Educational Qualification

For positions as an assistant professor, associate professor, professor, or director, the candidate must be fluent in Punjabi up to matriculation level or the equivalent, or within six months of joining the company. Candidates for the remaining positions must have completed Punjabi or its equivalent at the matriculating level. Post-specific educational qualifications are given in the table below.

These positions must include three years as a reader or associate professor, four years as an assistant professor in the relevant speciality at an accredited postgraduate medical college, and three years as a senior resident, registrar, lecturer, demonstrator, tutor, or an equivalent or higher teaching faculty position in the relevant speciality at an accredited postgraduate medical college.	who are Readers or Associate Professors and who have four research papers (published or accepted) under their name, including two publications as first author or corresponding author in journals indexed in PubMed, Excerpta Medica, Embase, or Index Medicus. Eligibility requirements as set forth by the National Medical Commission of India for the position of Professor (Emergency Medicine).
Associate Professor	those with a minimum of seven years of teaching experience after receiving their postgraduate degree; this experience must include three years as a senior resident, registrar, lecturer, demonstrator, tutor, or other higher teaching faculty positions in the relevant speciality in a recognised medical college, in addition to four years as an assistant professor in the relevant speciality in a recognised postgraduate medical college.	people who have two research papers under their name (published or accepted), including two works as first author or corresponding author as an assistant professor in journals indexed in PubMed, Excerpta Medica, Embase, or Index Medicus. Eligibility requirements as set forth by the National Medical Commission of India for the position of Associate Professor (Emergency Medicine).
Assistant Professor	From among the candidates who, after completing their postgraduate degrees, have a minimum of three years of teaching experience in the relevant speciality as senior residents, registrars, lecturers, demonstrators, tutors, or other higher teaching faculty positions in a recognised medical college. Candidates who have completed a super-speciality (DM/M.Ch) in the relevant speciality are automatically qualified for the position of Assistant Professor. The candidate who has completed a DNB programme and meets the National Medical Commission’s requirements for MD, MS, DM, or M.Ch. will be regarded as having met the postgraduate requirement.	eligibility requirements as set forth by the National Medical Commission of India for the position of Assistant Professor (Emergency Medicine).
Director (ACI, Bathinda)	MD (Radiotherapy) from a college accredited by India’s National Medical Commission. Professor (Retd.) in the relevant discipline with at least 5 years of teaching experience and headship of a medical college or department is desirable.	–
Lecturer (Clinical Psychology)	PhD in a related field and an M.A. in psychology. Five years of minimum related work experience.	–
Lecturer (Statistics)	M.Sc. in Statistics from a reputable institution 4 years of experience in a reputable medical school or government hospital	–
MCWO cum Lecturer	M.D./M.S. (OBG) or a comparable degree recognised by India’s National Medical Commission MBBS degree from a university approved by India’s National Medical Commission.	–

Self-attested copies of certificates for proof of date of birth, grades, degrees, experience, category certificate (if applicable), residence proof, publications, etc., must be submitted with the application on the stipulated proforma.
The applicant must submit a hard copy of their online application, along with self-attested copies of their certificates, including proof of their date of birth, degree, experience, residency, category certificate (if applicable), fee receipt, etc., to the registrar’s office at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Sadiq Road, Faridkot, by July 6, 2022, at 5:00 PM.
Applications that are submitted without a valid bank draught, readable copies of the required documentation, or that appear to contain missing information, as well as those that are submitted after the specified day and time, will be summarily rejected.
