EPFO SSA Syllabus 2021: Detailed EPFO SSA Exam Pattern 2021

The applicants should know about the details of Employment Provident Fund Organization Social Security Assistant exam pattern and syllabus. As the part of selection process, the candidates should undergo three step process such as:

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Skill Test

EPFO SSA SYLLABUS & EXAM PATTERN

Exam Pattern of EPFO Social Security Assistant 2021- Prelims

• The preliminary examination will be Objective type and will be conducted for 100 marks.
• The total number of questions will be 100, each question carries one mark.
• There is negative marking system, for every wrong answer ¼ marks will be deducted.
• Usually, the preliminary examination is qualifying in nature and that marks will not be considered in the final merit list.

Exam Pattern of EPFO SSA 2021 – Mains

• The marks obtained from the Mains examination will be considered for the final merit list.
• Reasoning, General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude are objective type examination.
• The descriptive test will be conducted through online mode only. The questions will be displayed on the screen,
  the candidates need to type the answers using a keyboard.
• The descriptive examination will be conducted just after the objective examination.
• For each wrong answer marks will be deducted. The marks will be deducted in the following format: if the question is assigned with 02 marks 0.5 marks would be deducted. If the question is assigned with 01 mark, 0.25 mark would be deducted.

Skill Test of EPFO SSA 2021

The candidates who have qualified the Mains written examination will be summoned for the last stage called, Skill Test. The skill test is conducted to test the applicants computer knowledge, accuracy and speed of data entry work. The minimum requirement is 5000 key depressions per hour. The skill test is mostly qualifying in nature, marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for the merit list.
