LIC Assistant Exam Analysis 2022
Before facing the examination, it is advised to go through the examination pattern of previous years. Below we will analyze the 2018 and 2019 LIC Assistant examinations. The LIC Assistant exam takes place in two phases.

The candidates who registered and filled the application form will shortly receive the admit card for the LIC Assistant Prelims exam. After the candidate qualifies for the next level, they will be eligible to write the Mains exam, of which they will be informed about the dates. Those applicants who qualify in the mains exam with high scores will be shortlisted for the interview process.

- The given below is the examination marking scheme that is been followed by the recruitment committee.
- There are 3 sections, each of 100 questions. Each question is assigned 1 mark.
- The exam will be conducted in online mode and the duration will be 1 hour or 60 minutes for each section.
- There will be no negative marking in the prelims exam.
- English/Hindi language test marks will not be counted or considered for the ranking.
Main Exam Pattern
Different zones have different patterns for the Mains exam. The exam will be conducted online. English/ Hindi is the medium of the exam except for language tests. Each question carries 1 mark. There will be negative marking in the exam. 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer from the total. - The marks scored in the mains exam will be considered for the final merit list.

- There is a negative marking scheme where the incorrect answers will be given 1/4th negative marks of the marks assigned.
