Marking Scheme in LIC Assistant 2022
The following is the marking scheme of the paper:
Total Marks: Prelims Exam is for a total of 100 marks whereas the Mains Exam is for 200 marks.
Positive Marking: In both prelims and mains exams, students will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer attempted by the student (from the marks allotted to the correct responses)

The officials of LIC follow the selection process mentioned below:
- Prelims: The first stage of the exam for applicants is to clear the Prelims Exam. This exam has subjects: English, Reasoning & Maths. Students shall finish 100 questions within the time period of 1 hour
- Mains: The candidates who will crack the Prelims exam will be called to appear for the Mains Exam. The Mains Exam is a little tougher. The subjects in Mains are GK, Maths, Reasoning & English. Students have to finish all the sections (200 questions) within 2 hours 30 minutes.
