The result will be announced after the applicants successfully clear the Prelims, Mains, and Medical Examination. The LIC Assistant results in 2022, will be declared by Life Insurance Corporation on its Official Website. The selection process of LIC Assistant Recruitment includes two phases – Prelims and Mains. It is then followed by Language Proficiency Test. The Prelims exam is only qualifying in nature whereas the final selection procedure of LIC Assistant will be based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Main Examination.

How to Download LIC Assistant Result 2022?

 With the help of the instructions list given below, the candidates can download the LIC assistant Result 2022. To check your results, candidates are advised to use a device and not a mobile browser, as the Corporation’s official website is not optimized for the tablet.

• Firstly, click on the official website of LIC and the homepage will appear on the screen.
• You may come across a “ Career” option on this homepage, click on that.
• Next click on the “Recruitment of Assistant 2022” option.
• Then click on the ‘Next Page’ link.
• Click on the ‘Download Link for LIC Assistant Result’ (once the result is published for all regions)
• Type in all the information needed.

In the LIC Assistant results 2022, the following details are listed. The candidates have to make sure there are no differences between them. If you find any errors, immediately contact the officials at the bank.

• Personal Information – Name, name of the guardian, date of birth, and any personal information that needs to be checked for any errors in spelling. The candidates have to make sure all the information in this section is verified.

How to Calculate the Marks?

The candidates will be able to calculate their approximate marks for the LIC assistant exam 2021 after the written test is completed, this will also help them with their further preparations.

• Prelims – The prelims paper will be objective type with a total of 100 questions. For every correct answer, a +1 mark will be provided. To calculate the approximate marks secured, calculate the number of answers marked correctly.
• Mains – The LIC Assistant 2021 mains exam paper is objective type with a total of 200 questions. This paper will have negative marking, where for every correct answer you will be securing +1 marks and for every incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of one by fourth. To calculate the approximate marks secured, you first need to count the number of questions answered correctly. Then calculate number of questions answered incorrectly. Then multiply ¼th of the assigned marks to the number of incorrect answers written. Finally, subtract both the numbers to get the final score gained.

LIC Assistant Selection Procedure

The Assistant position in Life Insurance Corporation is equivalent to the clerical cadre posts in banking institutions. In 2020 only LIC published the recruitment notification for 8500 vacant positions across India. The official notification for the recruitment of Assistants in the year 2022 is not yet published by the commission. It is expected that the notification will be published very shortly. The LIC Assistant selection procedure includes two stages of a written exam followed by the medical test.

• Preliminary Stage Exam
• Phase-II/ Main Exam
• Pre-medical Test

The candidate should know the Official Language of the State for which he/ she is applying. Selected candidates are required to prove their proficiency in the Official Language of the respective States, before joining.

Preliminary Stage Selection Process

The preliminary round is the first stage of the recruitment of the candidates to the LIC assistant position. Candidates who are applying for the post and paying the application fees can app[ear for the preliminary examination. The preliminary stage of the examination is qualifying in nature and the candidates who obtain a certain cut-off at the preliminary stage will be qualified to attend the mains examination. The given below is the exam pattern for the preliminary stage of the examination.

Candidate MUST obtain minimum qualifying marks in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the Phase-II/ Main examination.

Mains Exam Selection Procedure

After the preliminary examination, candidates who have a specific cut-off can appear for the mains examination. The mains examination is very important as the marks define the p[position of the candidates on the final rank list. The given below is the exam pattern of the LIC Assistant mains examination.

For the LIC Assistant mains exam, the candidates are divided into two zones, North Central and South Central.

• For candidates belonging to North Central regions

• Candidates belonging to Eastern/ South Central/ Southern regions

The shortlisted candidates from the LIC Assistant Main exam will have to appear for a medical test. The corporation will only extend the appointment letters to those who have succeeded in the medical test.

Local Language Proficiency Test

The local language proficiency of the State/ UT under which the LIC Division for which candidate has applied falls, will be tested by administering a qualifying test of 25 marks. One has to secure a minimum of 10 marks to qualify for the test. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PwBD categories need to secure a minimum of 9 marks to qualify for the test. Even though the marks obtained in this test will not be considered while preparing the rank list,  candidates not securing minimum qualifying marks in the test for the local language proficiency would be disqualified.
