The aspirants wishing to attend the LIC Assistant must register and fill the LIC Assistant application form from the official website after the registration portal is been opened by the commission. The LIC Assistant Recruitment takes place in three stages- Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and the Interview. After submitting the application form, the candidate will receive the admit card for the prelims examination. When the aspirant clears the prelims exam, he gets qualified to write the mains exam. Although, the candidate should also clear a language proficiency test along with the main exam. The candidate will then be called for an interview round based on the marks he had received. The selected candidate should then undergo a medical test where he/she will get the green signal to join the LIC company.
LIC Assistant 2022 is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant (Clerk). Hence, the candidate should perform various duties of Clerical Staff including Cashier, Customer Service Executive, and Single Window Operator.

Prelims Exam Marking Scheme
- There are 3 sections, each of 100 questions. Each question is assigned 1 mark.
- The exam will be conducted in online mode and the duration will be 1 hour or 60 minutes for each section.
- There will be no negative marking in the prelims exam.
- English/Hindi language test marks will not be counted or considered for the ranking.

- The exam will be conducted in online mode and the questions will be objective type.
- The marks scored in the mains exam will be considered for the final merit list.
- Each correct answer will be marked +1.
- There is a negative marking scheme where the incorrect answers will be given 1/4th negative marks of the marks assigned.

Language Proficiency Test
After the candidates have qualified in the prelims and mains examination, they will have to attend a language proficiency test followed by a medical test.
