The TNPSC Accounts Officer Exam is a Two-tier examination. The first tier consists of two written objective papers. In order to qualify for the second tier of Oral interviews, candidates must pass the written examination with marks more than the minimum qualifying marks.

How to Calculate Your Marks for TNPSC Accounts Officer Exam 2022?
The marking scheme for TNPSC Accounts Officer Exam is released by TNPSC in its official notification only. By using the marking scheme candidates can easily calculate the tentative marks scored by them. The tentative marks can be calculated via the following marking pattern:
- There are 200 objective-type questions in both the written tests carrying a maximum weightage of 300 each.
- For each correct answer, a 1.5 positive mark is awarded.
- There is no provision for negative marking in the TNPSC Accounts Officer Exam.
- Unattempted questions create no impact on the marks scored.
Therefore the candidates must first calculate the number of correct answers and then multiply the overall count of correct questions by 1.5 Marks to obtain the overall tentative score.
