Steps to Check CDS 2 2022 Result
- 1st step: Go to the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in
- 2nd step: Click on the drop-down menu of “examination” CDS 2 Result 2022.

What After CDS 2 2022 Result?
- Stage 1 comprises of officer intelligence rating, picture perception, and description test.
- Stage 2 consists of a psychology test, interview, group testing officer task, and conference.
Candidates who pass in the written examination and given their first choice as Army (IMA/OTA) are required to register themselves on the recruiting directorate website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in in order to let them to receive call up information for SSB Interview. Those candidates who have already registered on the recruiting directorate website are advised not to register again.

CDS 2 2022 Selection Process
The Combined Defense Services Examination is held in two phases- the first stage is the written examination and the second is the interview. This examination comes under UPSC and the examination of all the three forces is under this. If the candidate is passed in the written test then he/she is called for SSB interview. After that the candidate is sent to different places for training. Now we will tell you about the CDS Exam Pattern.
CDS Exam Pattern
CDS is comprised of a three-stage recruitment process. it consists of:
- Written Test – This is the first stage of CDS Examination. Candidates have to attend the written test which consists of three subjects i.e. English, GK, and Maths. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours. This is MCQ based paper. Candidates have to secure the minimum cut off in order to proceed for the next stage.
- SSB Interview – SSB Process is a 5 day long process. A candidate has to clear all the tasks given to him/her in those 5 days. Tasks include Officer Intelligence rating, Picture perfection, GTO and Description Test. On the last day, Interview is being held.
- Medical Examination – Once the student fully clears all the rounds of SSB, he is being provisionally selected for the CDS. Now, the Candidates will be going through a process of Medical Test with respect to vision, hearing ability, etc.
- Merit List – Merit List has been announced on the official website of UPSC after all the rounds of selection process is completed. The candidates who find their names in the Merit List will be called for Training by the UPSC.

How to Check UPSC CDS Result 2022?
Candidates need to follow the steps given below to check the result:
- Visit the official website of UPSC.
- Find the link ‘CDS result’ on the home page.
- On a new page, the result PDF opens.
- Candidates need to check their roll numbers through Ctrl+F.
- The result PDF displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates.
- Download the CDS result PDF and save it.

CDS Marksheet 2022
The marks obtained by the qualified candidates are shown after the declaration of the final result. The scorecard includes the candidate’s roll number, date of birth, name, total marks obtained in the written exam and SSB Interview, and final total marks.
Anyhow, keeping with the decision of the Government of India (Department of Personnel & Training) about the display of scores of candidates who attended the SSB Interview but did not qualify, the commission publishes the same which remains valid for one year. The details include the candidate’s name, father’s/husband’s name, date of birth, category, gender, educational qualification, total marks, etc.
Candidates can download their marksheets by following the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of UPSC.
- Go to the ‘What’s New’ section.
- Enter roll number and date of birth.
- The marksheet will appear on the screen.
- Download the marksheet and take its printout.
CDS Result: Score Calculation Process
The scores of candidates are calculated as per the following given process:
- For the correct answer in each section of the test, candidates score one mark.
- For incorrect response, 1/3 marks are deducted.
- In case candidates mark more than one option in the test that will be treated as the wrong answer.
- The total score is calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers.
CDS Result: Preparation of Merit List
The merit list is prepared in the given manner:
- UPSC prepares a list of candidates who get the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam determined by the commission.
- Candidates who have passed in the written exam are called for an intelligence and personality test.
- Candidates need to score separate qualifying marks in the written exam and SSB Interview.
- The final merit list is prepared based on the total marks scored in the written exam and SSB Interview.
- The final selection is done based on their merit subjected to medical fitness and the number of vacancies.

CDS Cut off 2022
For selection to the IMA, INA, AFA and OTA, candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks separately in written exam and SSB Interview mentioned by the examination authority. Candidates need to score at least 20 per cent in each subject. Candidates securing CDS cut off in the written exam are called for the SSB Interview.
