The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) of India has postponed the much awaited UPSC Civil Service IAS Interview 2020. UPSC had earlier scheduled the Civil Service IAS Interview from 26th April, 2021 to 18th June, 2021. However, keeping in sight, the increasing COVID-19 cases across the country, the board has decided to postpone the UPSC Civil Service IAS Interview. Therefore, all the candidates who have been selected for the Interview may now check the official web portal of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the official notification. UPSC Civil Service IAS Interview 2020 Postponed
According to the short notice released in the website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the UPSC Civil Service IAS Interview is postponed due to the rising COVID-19 cases. The interview was scheduled to be held from 26th April 2021 to 18th June 2021. This is now postponed until any further notice from the board. However, the candidates shall keep checking the official website for any further information.
The official notification reads, “Due to the prevailing conditions caused by the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19), as a precautionary measure, the Union Public Service Commission has deferred the Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates of the Civil Services Examination, 2020 scheduled from 26th April, 2021 to 18th June, 2021 till further orders. New dates for the Personality Tests (Interviews) will be informed to the candidates in due course of time.”
