APPSC Group 2 Exam Date 2020

Any graduates wish to join the Andra Pradesh government services, Group-1 and Group- 2 services are always the top priority. While Group 1 services or the state civil service examination selects the Deputy Collector, Thahalsidar, etc Group 2 services are second in command. Through the APPSC Group, 2 services candidates can join the government service as Deputy Thalsidar, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, etc. In the group, 2 services candidates have a choice of 28 different posts under two categories- executive and non-executive posts. Every year by June/ July the PSC invites the applications from the eligible aspirants towards the Group-2 service vacant posts.  But this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all preschedule examinations and interviews got postpone so we can’t predict the exact exam dates. The below-given APPSC Group 2 exam date are all tentative only and are based on the previous year trends.

APPSC Group-2 Exam Pattern

In Andhra Pradesh PSC Group-2 services, there are two stages of written examination followed by the Computer Proficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test for selected posts. There will be a gap of not less than 03 months in between each stage of the selection process. In short, the selection process involves the following stages;

• Screening Test/ Prelims Examination
• Mains Examination
• Personal Interview
• Computer Proficiency Test
• Document Verification, and
• Physical Standard Test
