The Bihar Public Service Commission which is commonly called BPSC has released the notification for the 67th Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) on its official website in September 2021. The Applications are available online and are accepted only by qualified candidates. The mode of applications is online, which means the applications must be submitted online only through the official website. The candidate must be aware that the one-time registration is the key step in the enrolling process.

A total of 723 vacancies are to be filled through this recruitment process. Of these, 228 vacant posts are reserved for women candidates, and the remaining 495 vacancy posts are for male candidates. The purpose of the examination is to recruit interested and eligible candidates . BPSC has increased the number of vacancies for the 67th BPSC exam 2021-2022. The 67th vacancies have been increased to 723. Earlier the number of vacancies was 575 for Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) The recruitment exam is conducted periodically based on the vacancy and the need of the posts. Age Limit:

• Candidates’ age should be in between 20 years – 37 years as of August 01, 2020
• For Female Candidates and reserved male candidates (OBC Male, Female), and the maximum age is 40 year
• SC Male and Female Candidates – Maximum age is 42 years
• There would be upper age relaxations for the eligible applicants following the Bihar state government norms.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) in any stream from any UGC recognized university or institution or its equivalent.

• The preliminary exam consists of questions from General Studies, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
• The exam is conducted out of 150 marks.
• The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
• Prelims exam is qualifying in nature.
• Candidates have to score minimum cut off marks to write the mains exam.
• This score will not be considered while preparing the final merit list.
• There will be five options for every question.
• Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking.
• The questions will be available in English and Hindi.

The Bihar PSC CCE recruitment has three stages of screening:

1. Preliminary Test
2. Mains Examination
3. Personal Interview

BPSC 67th CCE 2021-2022 – Interview

Based on the candidate’s performance in the Stage-II examination, they will be shortlisted for the personal interview. The interview is conducted in 120 marks. Lately, the Bihar PSC will publish a final merit list combining the candidate’s scores in the Stage-II written exam, and personal interview out of 1020 marks (900 marks of mains exam and 120 marks of interview). The commission will carry out the appointments based on this final list.
