Age, education, and experience requirements for the aforementioned positions must be met as of 22-06-2022. For qualified individuals with experience, age restrictions will be eased. Some desirable qualities are:
- Experience in railroad projects, including Class A and Class B environmental clearance, as well as metro rail projects (supported by JICA, ADB, etc.).
- Experience in the fields of environment, health, and safety (system certification, etc.), including the ability to prepare documentation per ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 5001.

CMRL Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
- The selection process consists of an interview and a medical check in two stages. The candidate will be evaluated on a variety of criteria during the selection process, including knowledge, abilities, comprehension, attitude, aptitude, and physical fitness.
- The candidate’s initial medical examination costs will be covered by CMRL. However, if an applicant requests a joining extension, they will be responsible for paying for the second medical check. The candidate is responsible for covering all related travel costs for the medical examination. The decision of CMRL is definitive on this matter, and the candidate who fails the required medical test will not be offered any alternative position.
- Success in the aforementioned selection process does not grant any right to an appointment until CMRL is convinced that the candidate’s character and antecedents are suitable in every way for appointment to the service after making whatever inquiry may be deemed necessary.
- Higher pay and higher positions will be taken into consideration based on prior experience, interview performance, higher education, remarkable credentials, and subject-matter competence.
- The contract period is initially for two years and will be extended for a further period based on the requirements and performance of the candidates per the existing terms and conditions on mutual consent.
- If necessary, the management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria to regulate the number of candidates called for interviews.
- An applicant will not automatically be chosen for an interview only because they fulfil the aforementioned requirements and experience. Only those who have been shortlisted will be contacted for an interview. The candidates may be shortlisted at CMRL’s discretion. The Management has the sole authority to accept or reject a candidate’s application.
- The CMRL maintains the right, depending on the requirements, to decrease, increase, or cancel the number of openings without further notice or justification.
- The administration reserves the right to change the requirements for the aforementioned post’s eligibility depending on the responses.
- The decision of CMRL in this matter shall be final. CMRL reserves the right to cancel the advertised positions at any time without explanation. It also reserves the right to fill the posts in the same position, at a lower position, or not at all.
- The candidates will not receive any TA/DA from CMRL for attending the interview.
- People who are already employed by the government or a PSU should apply in the right manner and bring their NOC to the interview.
- Applications that are incomplete or lack the necessary supporting documents (self-attested copies of your certificate, mark sheet, or experience certificate from your most recent position should include information about the nature, function, or job you are currently handling), will be outright rejected.
- Candidates that make an effort to sway or obstruct the selection process will be summarily rejected and excluded from future CMRL recruitments.
