GIC Exam and Admit Card Postponed: General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC), has released a notification for the postponement of the examination for recruitment of Assistant Managers. The exam was scheduled to be held on 09th May 2021. The notice was released today, 23rd April 2021. Candidates are advised to constantly visit the official website of GIC for the rescheduled Exam Date and Admit Card.

General Insurance Corporation of India, Assistant Managers (Scale I) exam was scheduled to held on 9 May, and the admit card was released on 16th April 2021. But now, the exam has been postponed due to a surge in Covid19.

Steps to Download GIC Assistant Manager Admit Card
- Visit the official website of GIC@gicofindia.com
- Click on the link – ‘Recruitment of Scale I Officers – click here to download call letter’ >>Quick Links or in the Career section.
- Enter your details like ‘Registration No / Roll No’ and ‘Password / DOB(DD-MM-YY)’ on the newly opened page.
- Now click on the ‘Login’ button
- Download GIC Assistant Manager Admit Card 2021 and take the necessary printout.
Candidates should carry admit card along with a valid Photo-identity proof (as specified) in original bearing exactly the same name and other information as it appears on the admit card/ application form and photocopy of the same ID proof.
Selection Procedure
The selection for the GIC Assistant Manage post shall be on the basis of shortlisting of the candidates based on Online Test, and performance in Group Discussion and interview, and medical examination.
The total marks for Written Test, Group Discussion, and Interview will be 200.
GIC Assistant Manager Exam Pattern
- Part B and Part C of the examination will be common for the candidates of all the streams.
- There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked (in objective tests) by the candidates. For each wrong answer ¼ of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted from those obtained.
- Tests will be bilingual i.e., English and Hindi except test of English Language.
- The minimum qualifying marks would be applicable on the total score of online examination.
- Total test timing 150 minutes. 30 minutes for PART A- Objective, 60 minutes for Part B objective and 60 minutes for Part C (descriptive).
Minimum qualifying marks (category-wise) for the online test is:
- General & OBC -60%
- SC /ST – 50%
