The Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs conducts recruitment drives to select eligible and suitable candidates for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II. IB ACIO Exam Analysis 2021
As per the schedule put out by the Intelligence Bureau (IB), the descriptive test (Tier 2) for the post of Grade 2 Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) was held on 25th July 2021. All of the candidates who have previously qualified the Tier 1 examination were allowed to appear for the Tier 2 examination. As the name suggests, this examination was of descriptive nature. As per the official sources, the tier 2 Descriptive Test of the IB ACIO Exam was held on 25th July 2021. Only those candidates who have previously qualified the Phase 1 Online Examination were allowed to attend the Phase 2 Examination. Some of the major aspects of the Descriptive IB ACIO Tier 2 Exam is mentioned below:
- The IB ACIO Tier 2 Descriptive Test is a 50 marks examination.
- Majority of the questions asked are from essay writing, reading comprehension and precis writing.
- All the candidates were given 1 essay to choose and write from the 5 given options. However the word limit was kept at 400 words.
- From the section of reading comprehension, 5 questions of 2 marks each were asked to the candidates.
