Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released recruitment notification for Combined Civil Services Exam 2021 on it’s official website jpsc.gov.in. JPSC has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill in a total of 252 vacancies. JPSC Civil services registration process starts from February 15, 2021 and last date to apply is on March 15, 2021. JPSC Civil Services Exam 2021 – Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying must hold a Degree holder from a recognized university/ equivalent qualification.
Age Limit
A candidate should have completed the minimum age of 21 Years and must not have attained the age of 35 Years.
(ii) The upper age limit for unreserved is 35 Years.
(iii) As per resolution memo no. 29 dated-04.01.2021 of personnel, Administrative Reforms & Rajbhasha Department, Govt. of Jharkhand, the upper age limit for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) is 35 Years.
(iv) The upper age limit prescribed above shall be relaxable as given below

| Ex-Servicemen | A relaxation of 5 years in their respective category |
Note:-
A candidate who has rendered at least 03 years of regular service under the Government of Jharkhand, shall be granted 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit

JPSC Civil Services Exam 2021 – Selection Process
JPSC Civil services selection process involves following phases–
- Preliminary Examination (Objective type)
- Main examination (Written and Interview)
– The preliminary examination comprises of two compulsory papers – General Studies –I and General Studies II of 200 marks each. The preliminary exam is of objective type and each paper is of 2 hours duration. The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English language. Only candidates qualified in the preliminary exam can attend the Main exam.
– The Main Examination comprises of Written Examination and Interview Test, Where the written exam shall consist of 6 papers.
