LIC Assistant Recruitment 2022

The Life Insurance Corporation has released the notification of the recruitment of the LIC Assistant exam, officially. For the previous year, they have announced recruitment for a vacancy of around 8500 clerk posts. For the year, the official notification is not yet published by the commission and is expected to be published very soon.  The candidate should pass the Prelims exam to qualify for writing the Mains exam. A language proficiency test is also conducted for the candidates to attend. The LIC Assistant Admit Card for Prelims can be downloaded from the official website a few days before the date of the examination and the notification will be published by the commission indicating this. The estimated payscale for the LIC Assistant is approximately 30,000 rupees. LIC Assistant Vacancy 2022

The no. of vacancies will be released for the year 2022 through the official notification from the LIC. Since the commission has not yet published the LIC Assistant notification 2022, candidates can refer to the previous year’s vacancy details to get an idea regarding the vacancies that can be expected.  There were around 8000+ vacancies for the year 2020. LIC Assistant Salary Scale 2022

In-hand salary is the sum that the employee gets after the tax and other deductions are carried over. The in-hand salary will be approximately INR 28,000 to INR 32,000 per month. The deductions from the gross salary are subtracted from the salary, which includes, occupational tax, payroll tax, and other business policy deductions.

The LIC Assistant salary scale is given below with the basic pay and the maximum in-hand salary. The basic pay is 14,435 every month followed by the increments and the number of years.

1. Initial Basic Pay – Rs 14435 with a yearly increment of Rs 840 for 1 year

LIC Assistant Eligibility 2022

The Life Insurance Corporation officials have issued certain criteria to be eligible for the LIC Assistant post. The candidates should satisfy each of the given criteria to be eligible for the post.

LIC Assistant Age Limit

The age limit specified by the LIC authority is as follows. The candidate should not be younger than the age of 21 while applying for the post. The upper limit of the age is specified as not more than 30 years. However, a relaxation in the upper age is provided to the candidates belonging to the Reserved Category.

LIC Assistant Educational Qualification

The LIC officials have also issued general criteria for the educational qualifications of a candidate. The candidate must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder. The degree should be from a reputed and recognized college or university that is approved by the Govt of India. The Graduation degree should be of the pattern 10+2+3. The applicant must also have basic computer skills.

For LIC Assistant recruitment 2022 apply online, candidates can make use of the official website of LIC. The application portal will be opened on the website as the commission publishes the official notification and the application date is approached. A step-by-step process of making the application online is given below.

Step 1: Firstly, visit the official website of LIC @www.licindia.in.

Step 2: Click on ‘New Registration’.

If you are a first-time user, click on the ‘Click here for new registration’.Enter all the details and register. You will be provided with a registration number and password after the completion of the registration process.

LIC Assistant Exam Pattern 2022

Both the prelims and mains examination patterns are slightly different. The exam pattern for Prelims and Mains are mentioned  below:

Prelims Exam

• The exam will be conducted in online mode and the duration will be 1 hour or 60 minutes for each section.
• There are 3 sections, of 100 questions each. 1 mark is given to each question.
• No negative marking is done in the prelims exam.
• English/Hindi language test(Language Proficiency Test) marks will not be counted for ranking.

Mains Exam

• The marks scored in the mains exam will be considered for the final merit list.
• The exam will be conducted in online mode and the questions will be objective type questions.
• Each correct answer will be awarded +1 and incorrect answers will be given 1/4th negative marks of the total marks assigned.

Language Proficiency Test

LIC Assistant Selection Procedure

The LIC Assistant selection process takes place in three rounds-namely, the Prelims Exam, the Mains Exam and the Interview round. The candidates must clear all three rounds in order to qualify for achieving the post.

1. Preliminary Exam: The first phase of the selection process of the LIC Assistant is the Prelims test. The candidates must pass this test to reach the second phase of selection.
