RPF Constable 2024 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Exam pattern 

Candidates need to have a deep understanding about RPF Constable exam 2024 syllabus and pattern in order to crack the examination in one go. Candidates will have to go through 4 stages of selection process to secure the seat of a RPF Police Constable. Shortlisted candidates will be given updated admit cards for going into each level. The important features of the 4 stages of RPF Constable exam 2024 are,

• Level 1 : Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Level 2 : Physical Measurement Test
• Level 3 : Physical Efficiency Test
• Level 4 : Document Verification

Eligible candidates who got the admit card can attend the first stage of RPF Constable exam 2024, that is, Computer Based online Test or CBT. In CBT, a total of 120 questions are expected. Questions from subjects like General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning will be asked in the CBT. Computer Based Test is conducted out of 120 marks. Candidates will receive 1 mark for every right answer and 1/3 of total marks per question will be deducted for every answer as a penalty for negative marking. Candidates should be extra careful while marking the answers since a penalty of 0.33 marks will be reduced for wrong answers. Un – answered questions will be left with no score. Candidates are required to finish the test within the maximum time limit : 90 minutes or 1 hour 30 minutes. The level of questions asked for CBT will be of Class X level. With proper preparation and study plan, candidates can easily crack this test with a good score.

After the declaration of CBT results, shortlisted candidates will be given separate admit cards for entering the next level. Successful candidates will be shortlisted for Physical Measurement Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test and Document Verification. PET and PMT requirements are given in the below tables. Applicants who pass PET are required to submit the original certificates of all educational qualifications, reservation, nationality etc.. in the final selection process, that is, Document Verification. In case of difficulty to present the original documents for cross checking or verification, candidates must inform the higher authorities with exact reason before the date of Document Verification. If not intimated to the board regarding the absence of documents before hand may result in disqualification.

Apart from the educational qualification, candidates must have a healthy and well built physique to pass PET and PMT. Being a constable at Indian Railways is a physically demanding job and candidates will have to fulfil the physical test requirements.
