Periodically the Railway Recruitment Board invites online applications from eligible male and female candidates for recruitment of constables in the Railway Protection Force (RPF). The Railway Recruitment Board conducts the RPSF Constable recruitment across various zones of the Indian Railway and Railway Protection Special Forces. Thus selected constables will be places in RPF or RPSF in level 3 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix. For the selection process, the board conducts CBT followed by the physical measurement test and physical efficiency test. RPSF Constable Syllabus and Exam Pattern
The Railway Protection Force (RPF)/ Railway Protection Security Force (RPSF) selection process includes Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV). The Railway Recruitment Board conducts the test in 15 languages, across India in various shifts. The RPF Constable exam paper will be available in Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi, English, Hindi, Urdu, Manipuri, Odia, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Konkani, and Bengali.

- For every wrong answer, .33 (1/3) marks will get deducted.
- Candidates will be required to answer all questions and shall be awarded one mark for every correct answer.
- The questions will be of matriculation/ SSLC level.
- Candidates must obtain 35% marks (30 % marks by SC and ST candidates) to qualify for the test.
