RRB Assistant Station Master Exam Pattern 2022

Railway Recruitment Board will be recruiting eligible candidates for filling up the Assistant Station Master (ASM) posts along with many other posts. The recruitment is done through several stages like a single staged computer-based test, Aptitude Test, and Document Verification. The individuals who score good marks in each stage will get shortlisted for the Assistant Station Master vacancies across India. Here is the exam pattern of ASM examination 2021, it will help you to get an idea about each and every subject relating to the topics wise information.

• The exam will be conducted in an objective type format.
• The exam can be in Online or Offline mode.
• Candidates can opt for either English and Hindi as the medium of examination
• The total marks of the examination will be 100 and there will be a total of 100 questions.
• There will be negative marking for wrong answers. One-third of marks shall be deducted out of the total marks that have been awarded to each particular question for the wrong attempt.
• And the total duration of the test is 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes).

Document Verification

After the prelims and mains CBT, the merit list will be published. The candidates are required to submit their original documents for verification. The RRB is the board that announces cut-off marks for each category and along with that a merit list based on category too. Candidates thus shortlisted based on cut-off marks will be then called for verification of their original documents. While the document verification round is running on, the candidates will have to keep all the required documents (Mark Sheets, Age Proofs, Caste Certificates) ready and produce them in original. Candidates will not be given an extra chance for the presentation of documents. Candidates who fail to present the documents will lose their candidature.

The following documents are needed to present in the original while appearing for verification.

• Matriculation level and higher secondary certificates and mark sheet
• The degree mark sheet and degree
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC candidates)
• Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC
• Discharge certificate for Ex-Servicemen
• Income certificate for deferring exam fee (EWS category)
• Minority community declaration on non-judicial stamp paper
• Medical certificate for the PWD candidates
• Self-certified documents in case of transgender candidates
• Copy of SBI Challan
• Passport size photographs
