RRB Technician 2025 Selection Process – Complete Step-by-Step Guide
The RRB Technician Recruitment 2025 (CEN No. 02/2025) follows a structured selection process to ensure only the most qualified candidates join the Indian Railways. The recruitment stages include a computer-based test, verification of documents, medical fitness assessment, and final empanelment. Here’s a detailed breakdown of each stage:
1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
All applicants will appear for a single-stage CBT. The exam will cover subjects like Mathematics, General Awareness, Reasoning, and Trade/Technical knowledge relevant to the post. Performance in the CBT is the primary basis for shortlisting candidates for the next stage.
2. Document Verification (DV)
Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be invited for document verification. At this stage, applicants must produce their original educational certificates, category/community certificates, identity proof, and other required documents. Failure to provide valid documents will lead to disqualification.
3. Medical Fitness Test
Post DV, candidates will undergo a medical examination as per the standards prescribed for the post (A3, B1, B2, or C1). This test ensures candidates are physically and medically fit to perform railway duties, including vision and general health requirements.
4. Final Merit List & Empanelment
The final selection will be based on CBT marks, successful document verification, and medical fitness. An RRB-wise merit list will be published on the official websites, followed by empanelment for appointment.
Candidates should keep checking the official RRB websites for the latest updates on exam dates, DV schedule, and medical test details, as no separate communication will be sent offline.
