Staff Selection Commission-General Duty-Constable (SSC GD Constable) is a national-level recruitment exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission. The exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.

The SSC GD exam comprises four stages – Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical examination.
The SSC GD Constable PET 2018 was scheduled from August 13 to September 29, 2019. The results of the SSC GD Constable 2018 PET & PST (Physical Efficiency & Standard Test) had been announced on 18th December 2019. The Medical Test is scheduled to be conducted in the month of January 2020.

SSC GD: Medical Test
