Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship
between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work.
General Awareness
This can include candidates basic knowledge, understandings about day-to-day happenings around the globe. Static GK and Current affairs. It may include topics like India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research, etc. We can expect questions from all around, as it is not meant to any discipline.

Preparation Tips for SSC MTS Exam 2024
When the aspirant has fully studied the SSC MTS 2024 examination syllabus, he/she have to plan study. The time allotment for each subject should be done carefully. General reading habit is very essential for all type of examinations which have general knowledge questions. Schedule time for each subject every day, so that you won’t keep anything behind. For quantitative aptitude, only basic mathematics portions will be asked. Merely doing questions won’t work. You have to finish 100 questions in 90 minutes. SSC MTS Exam Pattern
- There will be 4 sections in SSC MTS Exam- General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness.
- There will be 100 MCQ (25 for each section) carrying 1 mark each.
- The duration of the test is 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes).
- There will be a negative marking for 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Be confident and stay calm. Do not pressurize your mind with topics you are weak. Leave that and focus upon what you are confident.
