The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the SSC JE 2019 preliminary examination programme across India in various shifts from October 27, 2020, onwards. Through SSC JE 2020 the commission will recruit eligible candidates towards the posts like Junior Engineers Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying, etc across 19 Central services. Vacancies are yet to declare and will get updated during the course of the recruitment process. The Junior Engineer posts are Group -B (Non-Gazetted), in Level-6 (Rs. 35,400- Rs. 1,12,400/-) of pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission. Successful candidates from this CBT should appear for the next stage descriptive exam and the further interview process to grab their position in the central service. Junior Engineer Selection Pattern
The selection process of SSC JE 2019 involves two stages of written test. The preliminary stage exam is Computer Based Objective Type exam. The stage-II of the exam is a conventional paper (descriptive).
