UPPSC ACF RFO Selection Process 2021
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will select the candidates for the posts of Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) and Regional Forest Officer (RFO) vacancies from all the available applications, based on the performance in the three stages of selection process. The commission will conduct a Preliminary Exam followed by a main Examination and an Interview to select suitable candidates for the post.

UPPSC ACF RFO Selection Criteria – Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination to recruit Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) and Regional Forest Officer (RFO) consists of two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- The Questions will be Objective type, multiple choice.
- Both the papers will carry 200 marks each.
- The allowed time duration to complete each paper is 2 hours.
- Paper 1 will contain 150 questions while paper 2 will contain 100 questions.
Even though a candidate must attend both the papers to qualify for further proceedings of the recruitment, marks obtained in paper 1 will only be included for merit calculation of the candidate. However, a candidate must score a minimum qualifying score of 33% in Paper 2 in order to proceed the selection process.

UPPSC ACF RFO Selection Criteria- Mains Examination
All the candidates who qualifies the Prelims examination shall attend UPPSC ACF RFO Mains Examination. The Mains examination has 7 papers in total. Out of this, there are compulsory papers as well as optional papers. Moreover, each paper will carry 200 marks in total.
UPPSC ACF RFO Selection Criteria – Interview
The interview process makes the final round of UPPSC ACF RFO Selection 2021. It will constitute 150 marks in total. Apart from the interview round, each candidate will have to prove physical fitness by giving a test.
- All the male candidates must qualify a walking test of 25 km that should be completed in 4 hours.
- All the female candidates must qualify a walking test of 14 km that should be completed in 4 hours.
