Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the Admit Cards for UPPSC PSC Prelims on 1st June, 2022. The Admit Card are released online through the Commission’s official website – uppsc.up.nic.in. Candidates appearing for UP Combined State Upper Subordinate Services exam can now directly download their Admit Cards. UPPSC PSC Prelims will be conducted on 12th June, 2022.
UPPSC had announced several vacancies for the posts of Provincial Civil Services (PCS). UPPSC conducts exams every year to recruit eligible candidates for civil services. The Commission has released the official recruitment notification for Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services. There are a total of 250 vacancies for PCS. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon the circumstances/requirements. The posts will be filled in different departments of the UP state government. Candidates who have applied for this post and have been waiting for their Admit Cards can now download it from the official website of the Commission.

UPPSC PCS 2022 Admit Card
UPPSC PSC Preliminary exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates for the post of Combined State Upper Subordinate Services will be held on Sunday, 12th June, 2022. This exam will be held in two shifts – 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The exam will be conducted in 28 district centers across the state. Candidates are advised to reach the venue 30 minutes before the exam starts. The Admit Card for this exam has been released on 1st June, 2022 in the official website of UPPSC. Those who have applied for the exam should download the Admit Card and carry it with them during the exam. Failure to do so will result in the candidate being refused entry to the exam hall.
UPPSC PCS Prelims Admit Card Download 2022: How to Download?
1: Who was the first woman President of India?
- Visit the official website of UPPSC – uppsc.up.nic.in
- Click on the notification for UPSC PCS Admit Card of ADVT No. A-2/ E-1/ 2022 (Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Exam).
- Enter your registration number, date of birth and Gender. Also type the verification code. These details should be the same given in the UPPSC application form.
- Click on ‘Download Admit Card’.
- In case, the candidates have forgotten the ID or Password, candidates can find it in the SMS or email sent by the Commission.
- The candidates are advised to take a couple of printouts of the Admit Card.
- Candidates will have to produce the printout of the admit card for entering the examination venue. Those who fail to carry the Admit Card will not be permitted to write the exam.

Candidates should ensure that their Admit Card carries all the required information. Look out for the following in the Admit Card:
- Name of the candidate
- Father’s Name
- Exam Date/Day
- Permanent Address
- Gender (Male/Female)
- Exam Centre name and address
- Space for Photograph and Signature
- Enrollment Number
- Applicant’s Photograph
- Section name
- Paper pattern
- Date of birth
- Date of Examination
- Guidelines to follow during the Exam
If any information is missing, candidates should inform the Commission about it as they may not permitted to attempt the exam if any information is missing.

Documents Required for the Exam
As mentioned earlier, failure to carry the Admit Card can lead to the candidate being declined from attending the exam. Along with the Admit Card, candidates should carry any one of the following documents:
- Pan Card
- Aadhar Card
- Voter ID
- Driving License
Candidates should not carry calculators and mobile phones with them. Candidates should also follow COVID 19 guidelines.
UPPSC PCS 2022 Selection Process
UPPSC PCS selection process involves three stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Main Examination (Written examination)
- Viva- Voce (Personality Test)
The Preliminary Exam will consist of two compulsory papers. The papers shall be of 200 marks each and of two hours duration. Both the papers will have multiple choice questions. The papers will consist of 150 and 100 questions respectively. For every wrong answer, one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in both the papers of Preliminary Examination. Paper-II of the Preliminary Examination will be of qualifying nature with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%. The merit of the Candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the exam.
The Main Examination will consist of General Hindi, Essay and General Studies paper.

UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam Pattern
There will be two Papers for General Studies to shortlist the candidates for Mains Exam. Paper-I will be for scoring and Paper-II will be qualifying in nature (mandatory to score more than 33%).

Applicants should download their admit card from the official website by entering the respective login id and password. If any candidate fails to produce the admit card in the examination, they shall not be taken into consideration by the examination board.
