Union Public Service Commission has released the recruitment notification, UPSC Engineering Service Notification 2021 under the Engineering Service for Group A and Group B Posts respectively. The released notification is for various engineering branches including Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering , mechanical engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering on their official website upsc.gov.in. All the candidates who are interested and is found eligible (male/female/transgender) can apply for the UPSC ESE notification 2021. Submission of the application will commence on 07 April till 27 April 2021 on UPSC Online website – upsconline.nic.in. The Union Public Service Commission is abbreviated as UPSC.. UPSC is the central recruiting agency for the state of India that in turn recruits public servants for the state. All the central government exams comes under the UPSC and is responsible for examination of All India Service group A and group B posts and defence services under the central government.
The UPSC Engineering service Prelims Exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 18, 2021 (Sunday). the exam process for the UPSC includes prelims exam and the Mains Exam followed by Interview. Candidates who clears the prelims exam can attend the mains exam which will be followed by the interview there after. UPSC Engineering service Admit Card will be issued three weeks before the exam.

- 03 vacancies for Locomotor Disability this includes Leprosy cured, Acid Attack victims, dwarfism and Muscular Dystrophy
- 04 vacancies are for Hard of Hearing. The number of vacancies may be subjected to variations.

UPSC ESE Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Degree in Engineering from a Recognized University or
- Should have passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); or
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution. Under such circumstance as may be recognized by the Government for the purpose from time to time, or
- Should qualify in Graduate Membership Examination Electronics and Telecommunication Institution of Engineers (India) or
- Should qualify in Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or
- Should have to pass Graduate Membership Examination of the Electronics and Radio Engineers Institution, London held after
November, 1959

- 21 to 30 Years
Nationality
- Candidate should be a citizen of India or Subjects of Bhutan & Nepal/Tibetan refugee who came to India before the 1 January 1962

UPSC Engineering Service Notification 2021 – Selection Process
The selection will be done on the basis of:
- Preliminary Exam – 500 Marks
- Mains Exam – 600 Marks
- Interview – 200 Marks
Medical examination is also recommended for the candidates on the basis of engineering service examination 2021.
UPSC ESE Prelims Exam Pattern
For the UPSC Prelims examination the questions will be of objective type. Negative marking will be done for each wrong answer. Penalty for each wrong answer is 1/3 rd of the marks allocated to that particular question.

UPSC ESE Mains Exam Pattern
Conventional questions are likely to be asked for the UPSC ESE mains examination 2021. For conventional papers,the question paper will be set in English language. Candidates should also answer the questions in english.

UPSC ESE Personality Test
Candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in the Preliminary exams and Mains Examination will be called for the final stage i.e. Personality Test
Final ranking of the candidate will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates Preliminary Examination, Stage‐II(Main) Examination and Stage‐III (Personality Test) .
UPSC Engineering Service Notification 2021 – Admit Card
The admit card for UPSC ESE exam will be uploaded by the commission on their official website. The prelims and mains Admit Card are expected to be released three weeks before the conduct of the examination. Admit card will not be sent by post. Candidates are requested to visit the official website regularly for further updates.
