UPSC Engineering Service Examination ESE Result 2024

According to the latest release in the official web portal of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the result of the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) conducted to recruit candidates to various posts is now out. The UPSC ESE Mains Exam 2024 was held on June 23 in two sessions i.e. 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Paper 1) and 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM (Paper 2) for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics Telecommunication Engineering branches and the result has been released on July 30 at upsc.gov.in.

A total of 251 (including 08 PwBD, 06 LD, 02 HH) vacancies are notified for the UPSC ESE 2024 under different departments including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. UPSC Engineering Service Exam(ESE) Selection Process 2024

The UPSC Engineering Service Examination (ESE) Selection process has three stages, namely, Prelims and Mains, followed by Personality Interview, and Document Verification. A candidate qualifying the Prelims & Mains will be called for a personal Interview.

Both the Prelims and Mains are written examinations and a candidate has to clear each phase to be eligible for the next phase of selection. Candidates who clear the UPSC ESE prelims and the Mains examination will be called for a Personality Test where they will be judged on their task handling and presence of mind. Once the UPSC selects the candidates after the personality test, a provisional list will be generated and updated on the Official Website of UPSC.

The provisionally selected candidates will then be called for Document Verification, where they will have to produce their relevant documents pertaining to the Age, Category, and Educational Qualifications.

Important Points Regarding the UPSC ESE Result 2024

• All the shortlisted candidates are required to mandatorily fill up the Detailed Application Form
  (DAF), which will be made available on the Commission’s Website https://upsconline.nic.in 
• Important instructions regarding filling up of DAF and submitting the same ONLINE to
  the Commission will also be made available on website.
• If non-submission of DAF within the stipulated period, the candidature will be cancelled by the Commission.
• The candidates would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims relating to age, educational qualifications, community, benchmark disability (where applicable) etc. at the time of the Personality Test.
• Schedule of the Interview will be informed to the candidates in due course. The exact date of interview will, however, be intimated to the candidates through e Summon Letter.
• Roll Number wise Interview Schedule will also be made available on the Commission’s Website. The candidates are requested to visit the Commission’s website (https://upsc.gov.in) for updates in this regard.
• The candidates can access the marks-sheets after keying their Roll Numbers and
  date of birth.
