The UPSC CSE Prelims Admit Card for the same is expected to be declared 10 to 15 days before the exam date. The number of vacancies has been increased from 861 to 1011 as per the latest update from UPSC. The system of government termed as polity and it is midway between democracy and oligarchy. The subject deals with the functioning of the government in the country. The goal is to give an good perspective of the legislative, executive, judicial systems and various constitutional authorities in the country. Compared to the previous year, Polity is stepping towards governance and public administration type questions eg- Chief Secretary, Gram Nyayalayas.
