What is Indian Engineering Service?
Before we go into the results and latest appointment of Indian engineering service let us look into basics and recruitment processes of the said post. The Indian engineering service is a central service which is recruited by the union public service commission (UPSC). The Indian Engineering service examination has a three-tier recruitment process similar to the civil service examination. The said stages of the examinations are prelims mains and personal interview. The questions will be composed of technically related ones. The recruitment will be towards the four fundamental streams of engineering under category 1 category 2 category 3 and category 4.
