The Staff Selection Commission(SSC) conducts all India Recruitment tests for the selection of SI in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF. Through SSC Central Police Organisation(CPO) recruitment drive candidates are selecting for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in CAPFs, Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, Inspector posts and Sub Inspector Posts. The SSC CPO examination has three stages screening – Stage 01 Computer-Based Test, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Stage 03 Descriptive Test and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). SSC CPO notification 2023 is out. The Staff Selection Commission has invited applications from eligible graduates below 25 years towards the Central Police services. The SSC conducts the CPO recruitment test to select candidates towards Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF. Interested candidates can now apply towards the SSC CPO 2022 through the SSC official website.
SSC CPO 2023 Exam Pattern
The SSC CPO Selection process has two stages of written examinations, physical efficiency test, and physical endurance test, followed by the medical test before the final selection. The first stage is a Computer Based Test(CBT), and the successful candidates from this CBT stage shall appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (/Physical Endurance Test). The PET is mandatory to all and of qualifying nature only. The successful candidates from the PET will be called for the Paper-II. The mandatory medical test is the final stage in the selection process.

- 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump- 3.65 meters in 3 chances
- High Jump- 1.2 meters in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs)- 4.5 meters in 3 chance
For female candidates only
- 100-meter race in 18 seconds
- 800-meter race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump- 2.7 meters in 3 chances
- High Jump- 0.9 meters in 3 chances
PST/ PET will not carry any marks but will be of qualifying nature.
