The Staff Selection Commission conducts a Combined Graduate Level Examination annually to recruit to select eligible and suitable candidates to the Group B and Group C posts in various departments of the Government of India. As the commission has earlier released the official notification regarding CGL Recruitment in December 2020, the Tier 1 examination was scheduled to be held in May 2021. SSC CGL Expected Cut-off Scores
This year, the SSC CGL Tier 01 examination was scheduled to be held from 29th of May 2021 to 07th of June 2021. However, the commission has released a notification stating the exam postponement. In the previous year, SSC CGL preliminary stage exams were started on March 03, 2020. More than 10 lakh candidates appear for this recruitment exam across India. SSC CGL Tier-03
SSC CGL Tier-03 exam is a descriptive test. Here the candidates will ask to write an Essay, Precis, Letter or Application. The question paper will be bilingual, English and Hindi. Exam Duration is 60 minutes ( 01 hours) and maximum marks are 100.
SSC CGL Tier-04
Tier- 04 is a computer skill test. This test has two sections: Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
- DEST- Candidates are required to type 2000 words in 15 minutes on a computer in English.
DEST is only for Tax Assistants positions.
- CPT- It is to check the candidate’s proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations, etc.
Only for the posts under the Ministry of Mines and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
