The Ministry of Railway conducts Railway Protection Special Forces Sub – Inspector exam (RPSF SI) to select eligible candidates to the special forces in Indian Railway. Being a Sub – Inspector at Indian Railways in one among the most challenging jobs. Candidates who successfully crack the exam will get commissioned as Sub Inspectors in Level 6 of 7th CPC in RPSF in various zones of Indian Railway. The Ministry of Railway has not released RPSF SI notification 2022 yet, however it is expected that over 60 vacancies will be available in this year. Educational qualification

Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline recognized by any university or board

Age Criteria

Candidates must belong to the age group between 20 and 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable to candidates belonging to reserved categories. Check the details given below to get an idea about the relaxation in age.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ ST group : 5 years
• OBC : Non- Creamy layer candidates : 5 years
• Ex – servicemen candidates belonging to unreserved categories : 3 years
• Ex – servicemen candidates belonging to OBC : non – creamy layer : 6 years
• Ex – servicemen candidates belonging to SC/ ST category : 8 years
• Widows, Divorced women, Judicially separated women belonging to,

1. Unreserved categories : 2 years
2. OBC : Non – Creamy layer : 5 years
3. SC / ST : 7 years

RPSF SI Important Dates

RPSF SI 2022 Selection process

The selection process will be described in RPSF SI notification 2022. According to the previous trends, there will be 4 levels of selection process in the exam. They are,

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
4. Document Verification.

For Computer Based Test, a total of 120 questions will be asked. Candidates are required to complete the test within 90 minutes or 1.5 hours. Candidates must choose the answers correctly since there will be negative marking. 1/3 marks of the total marks per question will be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates can check the afore mentioned table to get an idea about physical fitness test. After successful completion of these tests, candidates will be subjected for document verification. Candidates should make sure to carry all the original documents along with their copies that are required for verification. In case of absence of original documents, make sure to inform the authorities before hand or will result in cancellation of your candidature.

How to Apply for RPSF SI 2022

Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria put forth by the board can start applying for the exam once the online portal for registration opens.

1.  Go to the official website of RRB
2. Find RPSF SI 2022 application link
3. Carefully enter your details, signature, ID proof, photographs etc..
4. Select your respective language and zone
5. Submit the application fee via online mode and your application process is complete
6. Download the application for future references.

Application fee for General and OBC candidates : Rs. 500/-

Application fee for SC /ST, Women, Ex – servicemen, EBC candidates : Rs. 250/-
