RPSF SI Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2022

The Ministry of Indian Railways will be conducting the Railway Protection Special Forces SI examination this year. RPSF SI 2022 examination is to select eligible candidates to the post of Sub – Inspector to ensure the overall safety of Indian Railways and it’s passengers. Candidates who successfully cracks all the four levels of this test will be serving the country as Sub Inspectors in Level 6 of 7th CPC of RPSF in various zones of Indian Railway. RPSF SI 2022 is a national level exam and plans to recruit candidates to approximately 60+ vacancies across the country. Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a degree in any discipline from a recognized university or board.

Age Limit

Minimum age of candidates who wish to apply is 20 years and the maximum limit is 25 years . Candidates belonging to reserved categories can claim for age relaxation as per the rules set by the central government of India.

• Candidates belonging to ST/ SC category : 5 years
• Candidates belonging to OBC – Non – Creamy Layer category : 5 years
• Ex – servicemen belonging to non – reserved categories : 3 years
• Ex – servicemen belonging to OBC : non – creamy layer category : 6 years
• Ex – servicemen belonging to ST/ SC categories: 8 years
• Widows, Divorced women, Judicially separated women belonging to,

1. Unreserved categories : 2 years
2. OBC : Non – Creamy layer category : 5 years
3. SC / ST categories : 7 years

RPSF SI 2022 Physical Requirements

RPSF SI exam 2022 Selection Criteria

RPSF SI exam 2022 will be held in 4 levels. They are,

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
• Document Verification (DV)

In the case of Computer Based Test or CBT, a total of 120 questions will be asked and the maximum mark is 120. The time given to complete the test is 90 minutes or 1.5 hours. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks per question for every wrong answer. Therefore, candidates should choose their answers wisely. Candidates can check the table mentioned above to get an idea about physical fitness test. After successful completion of these tests, candidates will be subjected for document verification. Eligible applicants are requested to bring all the original documents along with their copies that are required for verification. In case of absence of original documents, make sure to inform the authorities prior to the document verification date or will result in cancellation of your candidature.
